The Lieutenant Paul Baer Terminal

Fort Wayne International Airport has one terminal, and it was named after Lieutenant Paul bear. Because it is the only one, this terminal serves both domestic and international flights, and also passenger airlines and cargos. The terminal has eight gates that are in the shared gate-use system.

Gates 1 to 4 are on the ground floor of the airport, and gates 5-8 are on the second floor. In 2015, A half-height jetway was added to Gate 4. Gate 2 has a Commute-a-Walk covered walkway. Gates 1 and 3 are uncovered. Gates 5,6, 7 and 8 were built at a time when the airport had mainline service, and these gates can handle aircraft ranging in size from the Canadair Regional Jet family used by Delta and United to the Airbus 319 and Airbus A320 family aircraft used by Allegiant.

The terminaloffers following services and facilities including, Free Wi-Fi, deli and bar, gift shop, business center, multi-cuisine restaurant, play areas for children, and rental car counters, throughout the airport.
